An open standard for immersive experiences

OpenXP bridges creative vision and technical execution. A single .xp file captures narrative, media, sensors, and AI, transforming experience briefs into executable code while maintaining creative intent.

Propose a Project

Any open-source project in our focus domains can apply to join the foundation. We're looking for alignment, not perfection. Early-stage projects are welcome.

Admission criteria

✓Open source under an approved licence (Apache 2.0, MIT, or Creative Commons)
✓Falls within our focus domains
✓At least one active maintainer who is an Open Innovation member
✓Willing to accept external contributions
✓Genuinely open, not a product pitch disguised as open source
